Your everyday finance assistant
Answers from your real numbers
Ask about spending, income, or trends in plain English and get answers drawn from your own ledger — no query language required.
Scan a receipt or invoice
Drop in a photo or PDF. It reads the date, payee, and amount, suggests the right accounts, and adds the transaction after you approve.
Import bank statements
Upload a CSV, OFX/QFX, or Excel export and it turns the rows into transactions you can review in one batch.
Drafts transactions you approve
It proposes changes as an inline diff. You Approve or Deny — nothing touches your books until you say so.
Speaks your language
Ask in English, 中文, or any language — it replies in the same one.
Accepts images, PDF, CSV, OFX, QFX, and Excel files.
You're in control
You approve every change
The assistant proposes; you decide. Every edit shows up as an inline diff you can approve or deny — and each approved change is a Git commit you can review or roll back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know Beancount or accounting to use it?
No. Ask your questions in plain English and the assistant does the lookups for you, showing the results in a readable format. There is no query language to learn.
What kinds of things can I ask?
Anything about your own books — how much you spent on a category, your income, whether a bill was paid, or how one period compares to another — answered with your real numbers.
Can it add or change transactions for me?
It proposes changes as an inline diff. Nothing is written to your ledger until you review it and click Approve, and each approved change lands as a Git commit you can revert.
Can it read receipts and bank statements?
Yes. Upload a photo or PDF of a receipt, or a CSV, OFX/QFX, or Excel statement, and it extracts the details into transactions you review before anything is saved.
What languages does it support?
Ask in any language, including English and 中文. It understands your question and replies in the same language.
Is my financial data private and mine?
Your books are plain-text files in your own Git repository. You can read, export, or roll them back at any time — there is no proprietary format and no lock-in.
How do I know its answers are right?
It shows its work — the files it read and the lookups it ran — and every number traces back to your own ledger, so you can always verify it.
